Gaona Family House Fire

Dear friends and family,
On January 2nd, my aunt Esmeralda Gaona and her young family lost their home in a fire. Her sister, Martha, who is also my mother, was also living with her. Sadly, the fire destroyed their home and took all of their belongings, for they only had time to escape with the shirts on their backs. They are all very grateful to have escaped the fire and are working hard to pick up the pieces and rebuild their happy home. My aunt and mother are very compasionate and giving persons who will do anything to help others. As recently as December, they joined friends and family on a Christmas mission trip to Mexico where they brought donations of clothing, toys, and candy to many children that desparately needed a Christmas miracle. This is but one example of the love and generosity that my aunt and mom pour out to others without ever asking for anything in return. It is for this reason that I want to ask my friends and family to help them in their time of need.
They are in desperate need of basic necessities, such as clothes, shoes, toiletries, and medications. Esmeralda's sons, Issac and Kevin, return to school on January 8th and will need uniforms and school supplies. Any support you can provide will be deeply appreciated by my family and will go a long way towards rebuilding their lives.
