Gantz Girls Route 66 Memorial Trip

The Gantz family always dreamed of taking a family trip down Route 66 & all of the great stops they'd make along the way. Mark & Heather, along with their two beautiful girls Samantha "Sammi" & Cassandra "Cassi," would talk about the day they will pack up an RV and hit the road to tour down Route 66. With long hour workdays & the priorities life tends to bring, that trip was put off year over year. One day, the unthinkable happened, Mark died. Heather & the girls have lived the past two years in grief trying to piece themselves back together, but have not been able to fully process their loss. The oldest of the girls, Sammi, shared her desire to take that Route 66 trip they always talked about but never got around to doing, and sharing a piece of Mark at each landmark through spread of ashes - which would be a way of honoring Mark and processing their loss together in a memorable way. This fundraiser will help the Gantz girls gather the funds necessary to take the next school year on the road, fulfilling their long-desired road trip & honoring the man they love & miss dearly.
