Ganga Maa River Cleanup

Donation protected
The Ganga River is sacred in India. Unfortunately, hundreds of thousands of people use her waters and shores to dump trash every single day. Not only is this a huge safety risk for the marine life and the people that bath in it, but it is ESPECIALLY problematic for the cows that graze its banks, looking for food to eat. Much of the time, they resort to eating cardboard and plastic from its shores.

Now, meet Chotti Devi, aka Usha. Usha has been cleaning the Ganga for nearly 20 years. I met her a month and a half ago and was touched by her kind heart and generous nature. I quickly learned that she has three children, and unfortunately, is an incredibly unsafe living situation. She would like to expand her work cleaning Ganga and support herself and her children.

30% of what is donated would go towards expanding her cleanup efforts. 70% would go towards finding safe housing, paying monthly rent, and providing food for herself and children.

Please consider donating to help her. Anything that is donated would be a huge help. I will personally be giving her the funds since I live in Rishikesh, where the cleanup is.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and consideration :)

With love and gratitude,

-Ryan
