Gambia VPC Gold Duke of Edinburgh trip

Cars, jewellery, phones; we can all afford these and most of us own these. To be even able to afford even one of the listed makes us more financially advantaged than most other people. People who are less fortunate. People who struggle to afford the small things in life like food, let alone dream of even being able to afford cars. People like the residents of Gambia.

As part of VPC Cadets, I have been selected as one of 12 other cadets to get to go to Gambia as part of my Gold Duke of Edinburgh. At Gambia, we will be helping to renovate classrooms in a primary school there and help bring contributions to the children there in the form of school equipment and other necessities. The aim is to raise at least £750 for the equipment.

Please do try to make a contribution; whether it is a small one or a large one, it is still beneficial in helping make a huge impact in how these children live.

Thank you, Shaz
