Jehlar is a 100% disabled veteran and Michelle is his caregiver. They both homeschool their 3 children. Jehlar has traumatic brain injury, ptsd, depression, herniated disk (L5S1), and the list can go on. While on deployment, Jehlar was fixing a helicopter and the waves caused him to slip. Jehlar's foot got caught in chains, and he was left hanging upside down with his head banging on the helicopter with the waves. He was not found for about 4 mintues. He continued to try to keep up woth his job, but his TBI made it impossible to do his job correctly and safely. Michelle cannot leave Jehlar unattended, which is why Michelle tried her best to create additional income for their family of 5 and open her own children's and women's boutique at home. The Boutique is not being as successful as anticipated, and they cannot pay back their debt. They are 2 months back pay on their rent, and water bill. Their daughter is going to have to quit the dance team, which is all she loves to do. They live off a fixed income and the creditcard debt (used to pay the bills) has piled up! They will soon loose their place of residence, car, and everything they have managed to keep. Anything helps! Here is a link to the boutique that they run together, even shopping there helps out a bit.
