We are very excited to announce Galena’s first ever Pride Picnic in Grant Park on Saturday, June 12th, 2021 from 1-5pm.
Guests are encouraged to bring their best picnic lunch and enjoy live music, entertainment, and prizes from Galena local businesses. All are welcome to attend.
The mission of Galena Pride is to ensure that the social and cultural needs of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning (LGBTQ) constituents in the City of Galena and other surrounding municipalities are met.
The City of Galena continues to evolve as a safe space for all LGBTQ people. The Galena Pride Picnic is committed to encouraging LGBTQ tourism through building alliances within the City of Galena and surrounding areas, as well as advocating cooperation and support from all who value diversity.
