I am 28 years old, I love life, my family, travelling - meet new people - learn about different cultures and see new places. I’m curious to learn and genuine just wants to be happy. Love long walks at the beach with my dog.

<div>Unfortunately I am suffering from chronical pains which have invalidated my life since a car accident in 2015  where I got a whiplash and later in 2017 an lower back injury, now to the extent that I have been bedbound for 3 years now and I can’t walk more than 2 meters.

<div>I dream of helping others. When I've become strong enough, I would like to become a yoga teacher or a holistic nutrition therapist. More about my dreams at the end.

<div>Now though, I have finally found out what helps me and what allows me to move forward; alternative treatment such as healing and cranio sacral therapy, as well as a fantastic yoga teacher who teaches me exercises that are good, and which are suitable for my level.

<div>Unfortunately, two months ago I suffered a relapse. Since then I have had difficulties to talk and eat. As it hurts so bad I have lost 14 kilos in this short period. It is so frustrating not being able to communicate by talking, meaning that I cannot express myself to the doctors, when my parents are visiting and neither talk to my sister who is living abroad.

<div>Today I am again hospitalized. Traditonal medication helps a bit. I got some stronger muscle relaxing medication too, because it was an emergency when I couldn’t eat when I arrived to the hospital- it was a game changer because it enable me to start eat again. The doctors though, want me quickly to step out of it again, because it’s not good for the body in the long term.

<div>So without the strong medication what is really truly making a difference is the alternative treatments; that lowers my pain and makes it possible for me to practice yoga and be able to eat without too much pain. Practicing yoga should in the end make me so strong that I don't need the alternative treatment anymore, but for now that is key to have strength to eat and move my body.

<div>I know I have asked you all before and you have helped me A LOT last year, and I feel so embarrassed about having to ask you again. But if you have a bit you can do without – it can make a HUGE difference in my world.

<div>As I have not been able to work for years, my only income consistents of social benefits from the State, and I am already in big dept, as I am trying to pay for the treatments that will make me well again. I have sold my computer and anything else I can live without.

<div>Little about what happened since last year:

<div>Since being hospitalized one year ago, I was discharged and the municipality offered me a room in a elderly care institution. Not ideal for me, but I passed a good time with the elderly residents. One day I was out walking longer than I normally do, and it gave me a huge setback and I had to get back on morphine for a shorter periode.
</div>
<div>I was then sent to another Municipality, in a home for people with brain damage, to be observed.
</div>
<div>This place gave me access to rehabilitation with help from physiotherapists which was good, but still not an ideal fit for me and I felt very lonely.
</div>
<div>One day I had a new setback, again due to overwork, and since than I have experienced servere pain when I try to talk or eat.
</div>

<div>As I write this, I am hospitalized in a psychiatric department in Glostrup and I am so grateful for being here. Here they offer yoga, and for the first time I could talk with someone for 10 minutes without pain after a yoga session. I was so happy and almost cried of happiness for having found something that shows positive results. I always knew that sport and a healthy diet is the key, I have just not before now been able to find the right type of sport for me and my level. Now I have found a type of yoga and especially a great yoga teacher, and it seems to be a perfect fit for me to get well.

<div>But it is all baby steps, and as mentioned, I still need healing every day and cranio sacral therapy one to two times a week to be able to withstand the yoga, eat and talk, without it giving me new setbacks.

<div>From last year, your donations went towards alternative treatments, so that I could gradually stop taking the medicine I was taking, and then slowly receive less and less alternative treatments.
</div>

</div>
<div>When I in less than a month will be discharged from the hospital and have to pay for a housing, food amd yoga as well as bills as phone, insurance etc. I will be even more challenged to afford all the great treatment. Due to my financial situation, I cannot cover all the treatments that I need to get well.

<div>I dream of Helping others who have been given up on by the system or who have been thrown around to unrelated departments like me. I dream of having a place, where people can come on (retreat) in cooperation with the municipality - where there is yoga classes, focus on meditation and breathing. Even more, I dream horse therapy, as I have experienced how well calm animals affect humans.

<div>The greatest thing would be to have the place in the countryside, where there can be a yoga space and horses in the other barn.
