Help Gail get her new home!

Our good friend Gail has been gifted a house that’s being completely refurbished by Rock City Church and Adopt-a-Block Inc in Baltimore City. She won’t have a mortgage, which is an amazing opportunity, but she needs help to quickly come up with the money for the closing costs and property taxes before they will give her the keys. 

Since 2002, Adopt-A-Block has fully renovated 17 abandoned houses in Baltimore City. Each year, they give away a house and try to give it to a military Veteran. Gail, an Army Veteran, has been blessed with one of these houses. The renovation includes new appliances, flooring, HVAC, plumbing, electrical wiring, light fixtures, roofs, windows, doors etc.

Every little bit will help. Gail knows we’re doing this and has said that if we raise more than she needs, she will pay it forward with anything extra. Please consider donating and sharing to others who might want to help.

She needs the money by the end of August or she will have to forfeit this life-changing opportunity. Gail is an entrepreneur who was impacted greatly by the pandemic and is working intentionally to make this work. Given the time-sensitive nature of this exchange, she really needs support for her community to ensure she can achieve greater financial stability in the short and long term.
