On September 4th, 2017 Daniel was struck by an unknown driver. He spent two weeks in a coma, two more in the hospital. To date his medical expenses are $48,000.
Following the accident Daniel was forced to leave his job due to neurological complications from the head injury he received. He still suffers from headaches and intermittent dizziness. The full scale of the damage to his brain has yet to be assessed, as we are unable to afford the follow-up appointment with a neurologist.
Due to the cost of treatment and lack of work, our family was forced to return to Tulsa, OK, the home of the only support system we have. Unfortunately this support system simply does not include the funds necessary to sustain our family as Daniel looks for work and tries to rebuild the life nearly taken from him.
So, we need your help. We are desperately trying to keep a roof over our head, while also struggling to keep William in school. This apart from desperately trying to get treatment for any long term effects from brain trauma caused by this terrible crime.
Please, any amount you can spare would be an enormous help. Meanwhile we will strive to regain our footing and become self-sufficient. As soon as we've done that, we will close this campaign. At this writing we have only been here a week. It will not take us long.
