Hi!
My name is Rabbi Menachem Mendel Gafney, and I am a Shliach who has managed and produced Jewish outreach activities for a very large number of people in Israel for 10 years (from 1982 Lebanon War in which I managed Mitzvah tanks all over Lebanon and then I founded together with Rabbi Zimrony Tzik Yeshivat Hadar HaTmimim for Baalei Tshuvah in Bat Yam) and then Jewish outreach activities for over 20 years in Baltimore, and recently Jewish outreach activities and help for poor families in Tsfat for over 4 years.
My goal is to raise enough money to pay off very large debts that have accumulated in these years, and that will allow me free movement between Israel and the USA, as I am currently unable to leave Israel due to some of these debts.
My goal is to be able to intensify the activities in Baltimore, while at the same time making trips to Tsfat, Israel to continue the activities I began there in recent years.
The money will be used as following:
1, Payment of debts in Israel
2. A budget for activities in Baltimore and Tsfat
3. Rental of a property in Baltimore (first 6 months)
4. Car Rental in Baltimore (first 6 months)
5. Airline Tickets
I need the funds as soon as possible so that I can resume and intensify many of the activities.
This is my whole life, to help Jewish people come close to Hashem by giving them Synagogue services, by helping people that got in jail to be let out, to help poor families in Tsfat to have their needs for Shabbos and Yom Tov. To bring joy to people.
