Gael's Craniosynostosis Surgery

Hi, how are you? My friend's baby Gael is now 10 months old, he was born with craniosynostosis, which means that a suture of his skull was closed prematurely. This causes the deformation of his head and prevents his brain from growing normally. To avoid this from causing harm, he must undergo a remodeling surgery of the skull. This is a major surgery and I tried to do it in a public hospital because of the high cost and complexity of the procedure, but until today it has been impossible, we have gone through 4 hospitals and for many other reasons we have not been able to perform the surgery. The ideal moment of surgery was before his 6 months, and should be done as soon as possible to avoid causing damage and accentuate the cranial deformity. I went to a private clinic to request a budget of the procedure and it reaches the amount of $2,500. My intention is to ask the government for help, but if this is not achieved we are in a hurry. I ask for your help to achieve the goal. I know that the sum is exorbitant but any help will be welcome to finally solve this situation. I have tried so far to maintain discretion in the matter but I have not been able to resolve it in this way, however I have received the support of many friends who have helped me collect money but this has not been enough. That is why I ask for your help to see if it is possible and it is in your possibilities to support me at this time.
