Danielle's Eye Surgery

My wife Danielle has been struggling with pain in her eyes for the past couple of years. After going to several eye doctors and getting several tests done she has a diagnosis. Danielle was diagnosed with keratoconus a rare eye disease/disorder that impacts the cornea shape. The result is of this happening is over time the cornea can start to shape like a cone which is irregular and prevents light from entering the eyes. Overall the problems that arise from this is blurred vision , pain around the eyes and behind the eyes. Long term problems can become so severe it can cause blindness if not treated. There are no contacts or lenses that will treat or help treat keratoconus. Danielle has tried everything and now she is faced with getting a procedure/surgery done called cross linking. Crosslinking has been around in Europe and over seas for some time now and the United States is starting to do it now becoming effective. With that being said insurance has yet not approved this procedure in the United States and it can be costly per eye. Danielle battles with this every day and works very hard day in and day out to support our family and herself. I am asking for your help to donate anything possible to help with the medical bills so that we do not get buried in debt. I know this means a lot to Danielle, Mason and I. Danielle needs this surgery and does not have much time to waste as her eyes continue to get worse as time goes on. I appreciate anyone's help with this and I know someday I will be able to return the favor.
