Gaby's last wish

We are fundraising for our friend, Isis Gabriela Lagos.

She had a high risk pregnancy and constantly was being admitted to the hospital. She lost weight and at one point was at 40 pounds. The doctors were not able to figure out what was wrong until she had an emergency C section and delivered her baby at 7 months. Gaby was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer which had spread to her bones and spine. After putting as much of a fight as she could (an uphill battle when you do not have healthcare) she was placed in hospice and week later she passed.

Gaby was 28 years old and a mother to a 5 year old boy Yonathan and a 3 month old named Noah.

Despite the all the difficulties this 28 year old has endured in her short life...she was the sweetest, kindest, bravest and most optimistic person I've come to met.

 As a cancer survivor and can honestly say that her optimism and hope NEVER faded. In fact, it only grew stronger as her body grew weaker. She smiled everyday and decided to spend the rest of her days happy and surrounded with her family. Gaby held no resentment or anger in her heart and showed no fear in front of her children. She was resilient and shared with me that her only concern was for the overall wellbeing of her kids and her wish that they would be properly taken care of. 

It is because of this wish that we have started this page in hopes of giving her kids the life we know she would have given them if she was still alive.

Any little bit will help in making aure that her kids have everything they need including the start of a college fund.
