Gabe's Green Line Run

After watching the Netflix documentary Our Planet, Gabriel asked "what more can I do to help?" After a lengthy conversation he decided he would like to help animals and people. The only problem was how he, an 8 year old, could help and which cause to give his time (and sweat) to. After a lot of searching Gabriel landed on The Thin Green Line.
The Thin Green Line support the rangers and their families in their hard and often dangerous work protecting endangered species. Sadly the work of these rangers often puts them literally in the firing line. This work has cost the lives of approximately 1000 rangers in the past 10 years. This is 1000 families who have now lost a parent, brother, sister or child. 1000 families who now need financial support.
The Thin Green Line have set up the Fallen Ranger Fund upon which the families of these 1000 rangers can call upon. This fund provides financial support towards school fees, further education and even business grants directly to families. Sadly as long as these rangers are needed, so too will the work of the Thin Green Line. The Thin Green line does not see massive international support or have multi-million pound advertising budgets. on top of this the pandemic has decimated the income from eco tourism which would also be helping to protect these animals by funding the rangers. For these reasons the money is needed now and urgently to help improve the lives of those directly effected by the poachers.
Sadly there is little which can be done for the animals already lost to poaching but the families of the rangers who have given their lives can be greatly improved by your donation.
