My name is Gabriel Ndende. I, with my family of 15 people, recently relocated to Saint Louis 3 months ago from Malawi, where we lived as refugees for 10 years. We are originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo. After years of being trapped in poverty, I am determined to build a sustainable future for my family and create opportunities for others. With your support, I will establish an African clothing store that celebrates our culture while providing economic empowerment for refugees in Malawi.

Why This Matters

The store will be more than just a business; it will be a bridge between cultures and a source of livelihood. My workmate is an experienced fashion designer, and I have a strong background in entrepreneurship. Together, we will create high-quality African clothing and introduce our unique designs to a wider market in Saint Louis, Missouri. In Saint Louis, we aim to create a community that celebrates both cultures.
