Gabe Bodner - Colorado wildfire recovery

Donation protected
Hi, I am Jay Miller and I am raising money for Gabe Bodner and his family as they recover from the loss of their home in the Colorado wild fires in December 2021. Gabe and I were Cadets at the University of Colorado - Boulder Army ROTC in the late 90s. He was an outstanding Cadet and a great leader. He always has kind words for everyone and would do anything for anyone else.

After starting work in California, Gabe returned to live and work in Boulder a few years ago. His family closed on a new house on the morning of December 30th and started to move his kids’ stuff and their kitchen equipment in to the new house. The wild fires around Louisville, CO started and by the end of the day, their new house was lost in the fire. They were lucky that they had not sold their old house yet, so they have a place to stay and all of the family is safe. However, they lost a lot of things in the fire. When asked what we could do to help, Gabe thought of others and their needs first. However, I am sure that it might take a while for insurance to kick in and they have immediate needs in front of them. I assured him that whatever was not used could go to needy families that he knows. We also thought that some current cadets may be affected by the fires and some money could be used to help them recover as well. Please consider giving and thank you for your time.
