Hey guys, this is a tough time for everyone so I ask for help with great reluctance.
As an Australian artist, I like to believe that what I create adds to this country’s incredible tapestry of culture. I do it because I love it, and because I think the arts make us better people.
Unfortunately our arts community were one of the last in line for government support, and this delayed support means that we are all well and truly behind on bills and unable to start/finish any new projects that might make this pandemic seem a smidge less painful for all.
So, I'm asking you; my network and beyond, to help me create some new work during this time. Anything you can afford is appreciated. And if you can't, THAT'S OK too... you can support for free by streaming, liking, sharing, commenting, watching my releases online and hopefully at a live show when this pandemic is behind us.
The funds raised will be used to create my debut album and also release and promote it. To give you an idea of how the $20k will be used, $10k will be spent on finishing writing and recording the album which will include a conservative paycheck for the musicians and myself. The remaining 10k will be spent on mixing and mastering, distributing and promoting the album, art work and a photographer, bookkeepers, publicity fees, equipment etc.
All going well, I anticipate the album would be ready for release mid 2021.
And everyone that contributes to this fund will receive a digital copy of the album 1 week prior to public release! Just a small thanks for helping me throughout this crazy time.
