Tupelo Grinch Needs New Hair!

My daughter, Kristyn,  and I have been appearing as the Tupelo Grinch and his parole officer, Constable Whodunnit,  in the North Mississippi area for the last 4 years.  We receive NO PAY- this is strictly to bring some holiday cheer to everyone at this time.  We visit hospitals, schools, museums and libraries,  do parades, PSA for Toys for Tots, and make spontaneous public appearances.  Santa can be found everywhere, but a visit by the Grinch creates a sensation.

Our costumes are strictly home-made, but we would seriously like to upgrade the Grinch's "Fake Fur" hair to a more realistic appearance.  Professional hair fabric is far too expensive for our meager budget- approximately $400.00 a yard.  We can get by on 4.5 yards.   With equipment set-up fees,  (the machines must be set up individually for hair length,  color, etc, so we need to order all we need at one time,)  we need approx. $2,000 to order this movie-grade fur fabric. 

We know this is not the most important cause you can donate to,  but you will be helping us make many people smile, and the lighter-weight and greater flexiblility of the fabric will let me appear for longer periods and be less tiring.  (I'm 59 now and suffer from arthritis in the knees and hands, so this is a big deal for me)  Please help us continue to entertain and bring holiday cheer to the children of North Mississippi by contributing to our "costume fund."  Any amount would help and be greatly appreciated.   Thank you for your consideration.
