Our Adoption Journey

Donation protected
Jesse and I have always known we wanted to be parents.  We absolutely adore spending time with our 9 nieces and nephews but we long to be parents.  Due to a medical condition I can't carry children of my own.  As heartbreaking as this is for us at the end of the day we just want to be parents no matter how it happens.  We have so much love to give a baby.
A little about us.
We met in high school and dated off and on for about 3 years.  We ended up going our separate ways, but thanks to social media, Jesse found me on facebook almost 10 years later.  We have literally been inseparable since then.  From the very beginning of our relationship we have talked about children and how badly we want to be parents.  Once Jesse proposed we started looking into fertility treatments in hopes to maybe use a surrogate and go ahead and start the process. After a few months of starting that process it started to become clear to me that this wasn't what God wanted for me.  God knows Jesse and I have so much love to give that there is a baby out there that will need our love.  We got married August 3, 2019 and began exploring the adoption process shortly after.  Jesse and I both grew up playing sports.  While Jesse still enjoys playing co-ed and men's softball on the weekends I rather be in the stands cheering him on.  When Jesse isn't playing we both enjoy watching our nieces play travel softball, basketball, soccer and cheerleading (our nephews aren't old enough to play yet ).  Jesse is an avid LSU football fan.  You can usually find one or both of us in tiger stadium on Saturday's in the fall.  I enjoy hanging out with my fur babies, making epoxy cups, shirts, and many other wooden crafts.  Family is everything and we try to spend as much time as possible with them.  Both our families and friends are huge support systems in our journey to adoption.
If you have read this far and would like to help us along the way to our adoption journey please donate here or if you rather miss the fees I have venmo: mrogers10
We have paid about half our adoption cost so far but  financially it is becoming hard.
