I would like to give a big thank you to all the supporters who took the time to donate to All You Need is Love. With your help, a total of 1, 825 dollars will be going directly in support of The Canadian Cancer Society. As many of you are aware, the Canadian Cancer Society supports individuals impacted by cancer in a variety of ways. The funds collected through this campaign will be supporting 2 programs specifically. Half the funds will being going towards the Childhood Cancer Research Fund. The Childhood Cancer Research fund is an important program that “recognizes the challenges faced by childhood cancer survivors, including the impact of treatments on their long-term health and quality of life. Funding this type of research is necessary to help survivors live a longer, healthier life” (Dr. David Hodgson, The Canadian Cancer Society). The other half of funds raised will be going directly towards the Breast Cancer Futures Fund. The Breast Cancer Futures Fund provides emotional support for individuals, as well as funding for extensive and critical research concerning treatment enhancements. It is amazing that there are so many giving individuals out there. Your generosity is a blessing to many, and I wish you a warm and happy winter. Thank you for taking a stand against cancer!
