On October 18, 2014, the world was forever changed and for so many of us, Cassie especially, it will never be the same.  Her sweet, brave little boy, was taken from this world far too soon in a tragic accident.  Cassie is left trying to put together the pieces to a puzzle that will probably never make sense. 

As a full time Mommy, college student and working a regular job, making ends meet was challenging enough.  Amid this unimaginable and unbearable loss, we set up this fund in order to help Cas with little Brendan's final expenses and to allow Cassie some breathing room financially to take the time she needs to grieve the loss of her precious baby boy.  

A thought and special request from Cassie's Aunt Erin...When we close our eyes we each see a vision of Brendan as we each knew him. Every memory is as different and as individual as we are. Every anecdote we recall reveals a special side of our sweet spirited little guy.

We all want Brendan to live again. It is your individual vision and the recounting of his legacy, as short as it was, that will bring him back to life. Speak of him often, because stories and memories are truly an afterlife. His legacy is worthwhile and his life is honored when recounted time after time.
