Devastation of Clarkes Cleaners

Clarkes Cleaners had been a family owned business owned by several families throughout the years serving the citizens of Winslow as the only dry cleaner business in town.  The Waltons  were the current owners of Clarkes Cleaners.  On the early morning of October 10th, 2014 their life changed yet again. 

On the early morning of October 10, 2014,  three individuals set fire to 3 historic landmarks in our community.  Each landmark was a complete loss. 

A personal tragedy was suffered by the Walton family a couple years ago and now they once again are faced with a great loss.
