G7 Car Broken Into in Oakland

   At Genesis 7 my carpool and I had parked around the theater day 3 to watch top 8. Now top 8 was AMAZING and all, but the area in Oakland that it was held at wasn't the safest. Hours later upon arriving back to my car I saw faces light up in shock staring at the car door. I thought "oh no, did it really happen?" I walked over to that side of the car and lo and behold the window was bashed completely in and items were taken.

   Thankfully we had packed most of our stuff in the Air BNB but the crook did get away with my friend's jacket and my backpack that had mine and my friend's controllers, along with pins, charms, buttons, and accessories I had acquired from G7 and from friends and fans over the years.

   This is my first time making a post like this, and originally I hadn't planned on making a GoFundMe, but my friends convinced me that I should to bring attention to the unsafe area that Genesis has been held in the past few years, and to reach out to the community for help and that anyone who is interested in helping can. The important thing to me was everyone was safe, no tires were slashed so we could still drive, and everything that was taken from us can be replaced. We took the rest of the broken glass out of the window sill and swept up the big chunks of glass left on the floor and seats. The next day I went to the store to gather some supplies to patch up the area and thankfully it held up just fine the whole 9 hour drive home.

   This GoFundMe is to help out with the repair costs of the window, add the tinting back to block out harmful UV rays, and replace the stolen items.
