People 2 People Student Ambassador

Kevon Payne was nominated to take part in the 2015 People to People Student Ambassador Program traveling to China in July 2015.

Kevon is an honor roll student/junior at Musselman High School, in Berkeley County West Virginia. Kevon is a highly recognized basketball player for Berkeley County West Virginia Recreational League, AAU for West Virginia, and the Musselman High School Appleman basketball team. He was recently chosen to appear in the Best Basketball Players of AAU; 2014 edition.

Kevon continuously shows leadership and dedication to his academic studies with always out performing on school state wide test, consistently being placed in the distinguished student category. Kevon is on his way to becoming great and achieving his goals and dreams. His plans are to continue his education at a four-year university focusing on Sports Management.

Being the oldest of six, he exudes role model characteristics to his siblings, paving the way as an example for them. He is an active member of First Baptist Church of Inwood WV, showing his dedication towards his faith and religion.

There would be nothing more inspiring, and motivating for Kevon to take part in the People to People Student Ambassador Program to China; to not only explore the world, but to give back to others, learn to appreciate culture, life, academics, and diversity internationally.

By donating it will help Kevon fulfill his mission to travel to China to inspire others, attain self-motivation and enhance his quality in leadership and international culture.
