This is really awkward and embarrassing.

I'm about two months behind in my rent. This situation hasn't arisen because I'm a poor manager of money--actually, I kick arse at budgeting! It's arisen because I have a chronic medical condition that affects my ability to earn. I've had a bit of work--about 5 hours a week--which has supplemented a partial government payment, but with that about to end, I'll  go from not being able to cover my rent , if I want to pay my utility bills, to not being able to  cover even more of my rent  if I want to my pay utility bills. Let's not talk about the impossibilty of replacing my dying phone (thanks for in-built obsolescence, multi-national, tax-avoiding company). 

I'm trying to complete some education that I hope will enhance my earning capacity, but it's difficult to concentrate when homelessness looms and the everyday isolation of poverty leads to despair and annoying neediness on social media.  The amount I'm requesting in this campaign will help me pay my rent arrears and let me focus on completing my education and an unpaid, but compulsory, internship next year.

Look, some guy raised millions for some pseudo potato salad recipe campaign this way. Does anyone know what he actually did with the money? I guess he made people laugh.  I can make you laugh, if you like cynical and bitter humour.
