Winston's Warriors

Winston's story is very difficult to share because it is something off of one of those awful animal abuse shows. From the moment I went to get him from a Miami "breeder," he has had endless health issues. I was deceived into thinking that he would be a healthy puppy with all his paperwork and vaccinations. I soon learned I was wrong. From the moment I saw him he was covered in his own feces and a man was trying to wipe him off as I arrived. He smelled as if he had not been bathed in days and needed a little TLC. I knew from that exact moment, he needed my help. I was hoping a nice bath and some love would cure him, however I soon found that I was in for a much more difficult experience. I immediately took him to a vet to find that he had a bacterial infection in his intestines and was told "this is serious...he could die". I refused to accept this fate for Winston and went through a grueling, two week recovery and saw so much progress. He almost doubled his weight and started acting like the fun loving puppy that he is. Just as things were looking up, one day his legs gave out on him. I went to the vet to find out more bad news. It is a neurological issue that would need special attention from a neurologist involving a spinal tap and possible surgery. The spinal tap alone costs several thousand dollars. I have spent my entire savings to save this puppy, not to mention all the help I have had financially from my loved ones. I still refuse to allow this fate for Winston. Please help me help Winston recover and be his voice for all the helpless puppies out there that are bred soley for monetary gain. Join us in this fight and become one of Winston's "Warriors". This breeder has not responded to me and refuses to take responsibility for his blantant disreguard of Winston's health. I have reported him to the authorities as well as Miami Dade Animal Cruelty.
