Medical Expenses for Matt Picarelli, shark attack
Hi, I'm Matt Picarelli. A 4-5 spinner shark attacked me at Pepper Park Beach in Fort Pierce, Florida on March 12, 2023.
My recovery will take many months. First I will have a 6-week no weight bearing boot on the right foot in which 50 stitches (broken tendon, chipped bone) were needed to close up the wounds. PT will be the follow-up to regain strength to correct the injury.
It's a blessing that all my toes are still there! Thankfully, God protected me.
