I am excited to announce that I have been working on some original songs for the past few months, and I am almost ready to put them on a CD for YOU to hear! I wish I could pay for everything myself, but, unfortunately, making a CD is an expensive process. You have to pay your sound engineer, your mixer, the person who is going to master it, the artist/photographer for the demo cover, and the people who are going to package and print the CD. This is why I'm asking for family and friends to help in order to make this happen!
For those of you who don't know my story, I have been working in Theatre/TV/Film for a few years now here in Chicago and other places. However, acting is not always a full time job, so I have also been working at piano bars on the weekends and driving for Uber during the week to help pay the bills. I decided that instead of waiting for the artistic projects to come to me, I would create something of my own. People have been asking me for years if I would ever make a CD and now the time has come!
This will have 4 original songs on it. Most of them are representative of this chapter of my life. I thought of including older stuff I wrote but have been encouraged and inspired to start fresh! It has always been a dream of mine to make a professional CD that I can share with people. My hope with the CD is to be able to sell them online and at various shows and seeing if we can attract interest from people in the music business!
