G4S Employees' Irma and Maria Fund

October 24, 2017: I am providing this update to our campaign to ensure that the money raised can go to our employees who are in great need. I am the campaign organizer, Patti Marmon. As the VP of Employee Relations for G4S Secure Solutions (USA) the care and well being of our employees is my greatest priority. The intention of this campaign is to provide some financial support to our employees who lost the most as a result of first Hurricane Irma in South Florida (mostly those from our Gulf Coast offices in Ft. Myers and Sarasota) and and secondly to those with the most dire need in Puerto Rico where we have more than 700 employees, many of whom are suffering greatly. While G4S as a corporation is making financial and supply contributions directly to our employees the purpose of this GoFundMe is to augment this via the spirit of giving from others who would like to contribute. Once the funds are released to me they will be given to Mr. Luis Pagan, the G4S Country Manager in Puerto Rico and to Mr. John D'Agata, the G4S SVP in Florida for distribution to our employees who are in the most need. They will begin with employees who lost everything and have dependents and distribute from there according to need. All distributions will be tracked internally by Mr. Pagan and Mr. D'Agata. If anyone has any concern regarding how the funds are distributed please do not hesitate to contact me.

The whole country watched the one-two punch of Harvey and Irma. G4S has approximately 5,000 employees in Florida. Many have homes that have sustained damage and many more families have lost essential items including food during the lengthy power outages; some of which are ongoing. We have created this GoFundMe account solely for the G4S employee victims of Irma who are in the most need and experiencing personal and dire losses and damage. We assure you that all money collected will only go to those employees who have the most need. As always we are grateful for the spirit and generosity of our G4S family.
