Bryce's Medical Fund
Donation protected
This account has been reopened to encourage those who still would want to make donations to help with travel, medical and living expenses for mom and son. Bryce has completed 31 days of radiation, 6 vincristine pushes of chemo. He also completed 6 cycles chemo protocol as well. He completed his treatment on March 3, 2015 and he thankfully had a NED (no evidence of disease) scan on Dec. 15, 2015. His battle is better but far from over, however. Bryce will require 3 therapies a week for possibly lifelong. The chemo has significantly damaged his hearing and he will require special schooling to help him learn. There will continue to be many appointments as mom and son move forward. Mom is still not in a position, just yet to return to work until we see how long-term side effects develope and effect Bryce. Chemo can stay in his body for up to a year and many permenant side effects still will develope. He will eventually need growth hormones to help him go into puberty and he will need to continue taking them to grow. He has permanent baldness in the back of his scalp due to the blast to the cerebellum area. Secondary cancer has occurred in the form of a condition known as histicytosis due to the treatment used to destroy this original cancer. Then there is the possibility of relapse, which is 85%. Please keep Bryce in your thoughts and prayers and consider donating to help them on their continued journey. Even $1 helps with expenses they incur on a daily basis. Thank you.
