Growing up with my loving Brother, Craig Otterson, I've learned the true value and importance of being loving, humble and kind. I've also learned how to be a hard worker through Craig who has been a part of the construction business for the last 30 years. When Craig had time away from work he was always looking to help out his family in any way he could. He would help me with projects around my house and he was always there to care for my mother during the most difficult of times. When we were younger we would spend a lot of time on my Dad's boat on Lake St. Clair. Craig has always lived on the East side and has really enjoyed his time there.
Craig has suffered some severe health issues over the last couple years. Having overcome prostate cancer (2) years ago after having his prostate removed, we were hopeful that was the end of his cancer battle. We have recently learned that Craig was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in his lymphnodes and throughout his bones which has prohibited him from working. Craig also has osteoporosis througout his bones as well as emphysema which has taken a toll on his body and his mobility.
Through friends and family, I learned about this wonderful program that could potentially help my brother with his medical and dental bills as Craig can no longer work to pay for these expenses with his recent health decline.
My family and I are grateful for any support that can be provided as this will truly lift the burden our family is currently facing. Thank you for taking the time to learn about Craig's battle, I am forever thankful for your support.
