Avery's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On January 7th, Avery was attacked by her dog, Sosa. Avery sustained a fractured wrist, multiple bites to her foot, and a shattered thumb. She had some of her toes stapled together as well as multiple sutures on her foot. She had to undergo emergency surgery on her thumb where one artery had been wrapped around part of her thumb and another had been severed. They put pins in her thumb and we were hoping for the best, but we found out she will have to undergo another surgery where the doctors will have to remove half of her thumb. If the rest of her thumb doesn't heal correctly, then they will most likely have to remove the whole thumb. All of this is on her dominant hand and she will have to learn to do many things with her other hand. This will take her up to four months to heal from. So, she will be out of work for four months and she will need some help with household bills as well as medical bills. We humbly ask, if you are able, to please consider contributing to help alleviate Avery's present hospital bills and also the ones that are coming shortly, at least until she can go back to work. If you are unable to donate we completely understand but ask you to please share this on the social media platform of your choice.
