Help Save T-Pain!

Donation protected
First of all, thank you to anyone who is viewing this. Thank you for your support, thank you for your kindness, and thank you for caring. This has been an especially hard time for me, mainly because of just how helpless I really feel. I wish there was more I could do, but I know that with your help, every option will be explored and every day will be better.

Now, chances are that if you've seen me at any point in the last four years, you've likely met or at least heard of, my dude T-PAIN. And no, I'm not talking about the top-hat wearing, auto-tune singing, next-gen Akon; I'm talking about my little dog T (aka Tchopatoulas, T-Bone, Tron, Mr. T, etc.). Whatever his name may be at the time, he will always be my best friend, my co-worker, and my partner in crime. He rarely leaves my side, and never leaves my thoughts.  Some of you have also gotten to know him very well; lucky enough to be recipients of his welcoming hugs, his wiggling nub, and his good old fashioned high fives.

Recently, T was diagnosed with a rare case of Lymphoma, a cancer which attacks the lymphocyte cells of the immune system. I was lucky enough to notice the symtoms early on, but the disease spread very rapidly and is currently throughout his body. This kind of scenario is almost unheard of in dogs under the age of five (T being only 4), which makes this even harder to understand. Yet, at the same time, I'm hoping we have his youth on our side.

As of yesterday, T started his first dose of puppy chemotherapy; a long (and expensive) 20+ week procedure, involving weekly check-ups, continuous blood work, and lots and lots of pills. So, this is where your help will really make a difference. Anything you can do, whether it be a donation or just sharing our story, would be great. I'd do anything for my little dude, as I'm sure any of you with pets understand so well.

I always imagined T living forever, not once even considering a thought of being without him; and while I know that is silly, just typing this brings tears to my eyes. I have all the faith that we will SAVE T-PAIN! So here's to you, to remission, and to a full recovery! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Sincerely,
Aaron
