Help Bruno fight Pythiosis

Donation protected
Bruno first got sick in the middle of August, we had taken him to a vet who had diagnosed him with kennel cough for close to two months. He was not getting better, only worse. We took him to a new vet on October 14 for a second opinion. We described to the vet what Bruno was doing and he immediately put him in for xrays, his results came back and there was a large white mass in his abdomen. Within two hours after the X-ray results came back they had been doing surgery on Bruno to see what this mass was. Unfortunately, it was too far in his abdomen to cut out. So, they took a tissue sample to send out for a biopsy. Saturday morning we got the final diagnosis... Bruno was diagnosed with an extremely rare infectious disease called PYTHIOSIS. Having this disease is very fatal in dogs, giving him a 10% chance of survival. And the only treatment is medication. Bruno is currently on 5 different medications to help overcome this. Unfortunately finances are tight and paying $100 A WEEK just to pay off his surgery and over $150 A MONTH with all his medications is going to be hard to pull off.. I'm not asking for a lot, just anything helps. Dogs become more than pets, they're family..
