Hello beloved friends and family,
I come to you today with incredibly important updates about our beautiful friend and my soul sister, Edit. In the beginning of July when the cancer spread into different parts of her body (while under chemo & radiation) Edit has decided to stop the use of western medicine as it was no longer serving her. Since then she has been working with different plant medicines, essential oils, and diving deep into spirituality.
As of October 1st, the cancer spread all over her body and she is mobile only through the use of a wheel chair and a walker, creating an inability for her to work any longer. Her only support was the income she was bringing in for herself and her daughter as a single mom.
All this said, Edit has found the continued strength to journey to Brazil for a two week trip along with her brother to seek the healing power from “John of God” in November (recently featured in an interview with Oprah). John of God is a medium (or vessel) of spiritual healing. Many have said that he has performed miracles of healing but John of God always says, “I never heal anyone, It is God who heals.”
Western health care does not cover this.. . nor her inability to work.. .and the doctors have told her that even Chemotherapy will not save her but merely “prolong her life without a guarantee”.. . without getting into the ridiculousness of the american robbery of healthcare, she is choosing (and asking us to choose) to see the light and love of our humanity going beyond signed paperwork and corporate coverage, but into hope. Hope that there is always a way to live. Sometimes the will to survive in the face of death is more living than most people do their entire lives. This courage in her heart inspires us to bond together. Working as one to help each other is the most altruistic sign of our grace and humanity. This test of faith is upon us now in our bond to her.
For this trip to Brazil with John of God and to cover her costs of living we need everyone to come together to raise her up by donating as much as we each possibly can. Our thoughts and prayers are with her and now she needs the financial means to reach for this miracle. I pray and have faith in my heart that together (hand by hand) we can help Edit (with the help of God) overcome this battle because she has a beautiful life ahead of her. I see it. I really, really see it. I believe in it. I trust in God because God is love and so are we.
