Lincoln's medical fund

Lincoln Todd Chapman is 7 weeks old and was diagnosed with Radial Ray Anamoly at the 20 week ultrasound.  If you don't know what that is it is a short or absent radius bone in the forearm.  The odds of this happening are 1 in 300,000.  The doctors made us aware he could still be a healthy happy baby but will need procedures done to make his hand and arm work as if nothing was wrong.  We accepted him as he was and thought long and hard about the procedures.  Even though we know he will have a normal life and adapt to his arm the way it is we decided to have this procedure when capable.  The first procedure won't happen until around 18 months old.  At his first check up we were handed new information about the possibilities of our little handsome man having a syndrome associated with Radial Ray Anamoly.  This was news to us as they discussed the genetics testings he would have to go through.  His first genetics test was scheduled for Nov. 3rd but you will soon find out, that appointment will never happen.

Friday afternoon Lincoln and his mother were out shopping when she noticed he was acting strange.  His breathing became faint.  Attempting to take Lincoln to the hospital to make sure everything was ok his breathing was being checked at every red light only to notice at a stop that he was not breathing at all.  Lincoln's mother put her car in park and removed him from his car seat in the intersection and dialed 911.  A ambulance arrived to take Lincoln to the nearby hospital.  While keeping Lincoln stable they transfered Lincoln to Cincinnati's Children Hospital.

Lincoln was diagnosed with TAPVR (Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venus Return).  Which required emergency heart surgery.  It has been 2 days since his surgery and he is doing great but he has a long road ahead of him for a full recovery.  Our poor little guy is only 7 weeks old and has already had his life turned upside down.

Please help support Lincoln and his family.  We are a single income family with 2 children and now his medical bills are piling up and insurance only covers so much, not to mention the travel costs from home to Children's Hospital.  The family lives 40 minutes away from the best hospital for Lincoln.  Any support helps but we want to take away as much stress as possible so we can care for Lincoln.

Thank you all and be kind to one another.
