Thank you for your participation in the Front Step Project! The suggested donation is $75-$150.
THE FRONT STEPS PROJECT- DALLAS is a donation-based, fundraising portrait project of Dallas families during the Covid-19 stay order and the slow reopening after the shutdown. The project is benefitting the North Texas Food Bank, an organization that has seen an unprecedented demand as local families lost their jobs and wages in late March.
Over the course of the project, 500 families have been photographed and together we’ve raised OVER $25,000 for the North Texas Food Bank. That’s 100,000 meals to children and families in need. Amazing, Dallas! 50% of your donation goes directly to the Food Bank. The suggested donation is $75-$150.
Participation in this project has allowed Dallas families to give back to our community during a time we feel otherwise helpless. It is also a way to document this historic, life-changing moment. A moment when we got to know our kids, our communities, and ourselves a bit deeper. A moment we will look back on as a catalyst of change and progression both in the world and in our lives.

About North Texas Food Bank: Vision for a hunger-free, healthy North Texas with a mission to close the hunger gap in North Texas by providing access to nutritious food. The North Texas Food Bank provides over 60,000 boxes of food across 13 counties weekly and expects the need for food assistance to grow in the coming weeks and months.
About Julia:
I am an NYC-based photographer who just moved with our family to Dallas in early March. Never would I have thought that this is how we would become involved in the local community but here we are. As a mother, I understand the importance of a village and hope this fundraising effort will provide some relief to struggling families who have been physically cut off from their village as an effect of COVID-19.
