Sue's Housing fund

Our dear friend Sue needs our help. Sue has lived for most of her 89 years in the Los Angeles area.  Her son bought a house for her there seventeen years ago in which Sue was to live for the balance of her life.  Sadly her son passed away shortly after purchasing the home and left the property to his wife.  He was certain that his mother would be able to continue to live in the house until her death.  Sue’s daughter-in-law even provided a letter to Sue stating that the house would be hers to use as long as she lived.  But…..for whatever reasons the daughter-in-law, Paulette Banks (now of San Diego, CA) and Sue’s grandson, James Banks (now of Raleigh, NC) have evicted Sue from her home.  Sue tried to find legal relief but was denied by the court.  Paulette’s solution to Sue’s housing problem was “Let her live with friends.”  At age 89 Sue does not have the financial resources to purchase a home nor to rent an apartment in the area.  The actions of Paulette and James are heartless and hurtful.  Please consider a contribution to ease the financial stress and allow Sue some time to consider her options.
