As you all know and love the Brook’s brothers they are some of the hardest working guys in the music industry. They spend 10 – 11 months OR MORE a year on the road. For those of you that know me (Brad Lichtman) you know I have been helping them as a roadie and I personally have spent several days in the van with them and countless hours in the trailer that they pull around all across our country.
Matt, Kent, & Chris are not only some of the hardest working guys in the industry but also some of the nicest. You might not know this but they will give up a few hours of sleep to spend more time with their fans after a show, even though they have to travel hundreds of miles the next day. They will forgo the occasional down time to themselves to instead spend a little time with fans over breakfast or lunch. They sacrifice so much day in and day out to keep the fans happy.
Recently, I have noticed a few things in my time with the guys. 1) Some of their gear is really starting to show its age from being on the road for 5+ years. 2) Their van is starting to slow down from all the miles they have put on it. 3) The trailer they use is to small or they need to actually purchase one.
So where do you and I come in? Well, the holidays are right around the corner and I have come up with this great (and crazy idea). Start a GoFundMe to support the awesome guys of LIKE A STORM and right before Christmas I can present them with a monetary gift so they can do 1 of the following: buy some new road gear, buy a LAS trailer, or maybe even put a down payment on a new vehicle.
