My name is Karen,
Just like the sun rises and sets; so are our lives ticking like the clock. The only difference is that we don't know what's coming on the next rise or set.
I have worked full time supporting my household because, my husband worked sporadically due to lack of jobs .
In July,2013, my husband (Scott) and I were so excited ,that he finally got a full time job . The job paid well and all our financial problems would be over. 4 days into the job, he died from a heart attack , out of town where he had gone for work. We had life insurance from the New job which didn't apply because he worked less than a month. I got lots of help from friends and family. Thanks to the friends and family, I caught up from funeral expenses, house bills car fixing and even started paying on my university financial Aid.
September 7,2014, I injured my left hip and needing emergency surgery October,22 . I have other medical bills from the emergency room $932, tests and lab work approx $380 which I could make arrangements to pay but I mostly need $4,000 funding for surgery so that I can be well to go back to work. My short term disability insurance was denied and I they sent me paper work to appeal ; which I did and I have not heard from them yet. So I can't make repayment arragements due to not having sufficient income.
I am appealing to family and friends to please help me get back on my feet. Thank you for listening and thank you for the donations.
