<div>Hello all! Park county just sustained its worst flooding in known history! While our home is fine, our business sustained considerable damage. The water came so quickly. We lost a considerable amount of structure and 1/3 of our product.    This is our MAIN income and a loss of $25,000 in product is significant.  We also own the daycare next door and a small home behind the stand.  Both structures were under water with extensive damage... they may not be salvageable.  Plus we will be losing the monthly  income from these rentals (by the way, as landlords our rents are still at 2013 standards even after our taxes increased greatly.  Our 3 bed 2 bath rental is still $750/month.  We want to be stewards to our town). Unfortunately, we have no flood insurance since no insurance company would insure us for that! We need to get the place cleaned up and fixed and new product bought asap. We were hoping to have an excellent selling season this year since last year was a complete bust due to the shut down of sales on June 30. We barely paid our bills last year. These 3 buildings are our main income! It pays our mortgage and the kids college tuition. And on top of that, Chris started a new job just last week as a....wait for it.....tour guide in Yellowstone! So, you know how that's going to go. We have high hopes that we can open on time or at least for most of the season. We just need to get the building in order and have no way of doing that right now.
