Elijah Tate - Surgery/Medical Fund

Elijah J. Tate is 14 years old and a Freshman (9th Grade) at South Houston High School in Pasadena, Texas.  On August 31, 2014 Elijah sustained an injury enjoying his passion, playing sports.  He has been diagnosed with a dislocated Patella, torn Meniscus and torn ACL.  Due to the extent of his injury, Elijah is in need of surgery.  He has been instructed that he will no longer be allowed to participate in any athletic activities until he receives a medical release from the Orthopedic Surgeon. In which, the Orthopedic Surgeon informed us that for Elijah's safety, he cannot issue a medical release until he has received his surgery.  I do not qualify for government assistance and unfortunately, at this time i cannot afford to provide my son with medical insurance.  Therefore, I would like to reach out to all our Family and Friends for your help.  There is no gift of love too small.
