PLEASE HELP US ON THE ROAD TO AYC NATLS!
This amazing FYM Phoenix Dance Team needs YOUR help to get to their final FALL destination! AYC Dance Nationals, Dec. 7-11, 2017! They need help with air fare, food and lodging for this 4 day AYC FL Nationals event and we are trying to QUICKLY & extremely "OPTIMISTICALLY" raise $500 per dancer. AYC Nationals 2017 is in less than 17 days and these dancers need to book flights & lodging TODAY! Deadline for online giving is fast approaching!

Amirah - 19 (Team Jr. Coach), I have been dancing for Coach Carmella, who also happens to be my wonderful mother, since I was 9. I have enjoyed every minute of it & have made so many friendships & experienced great team work values. It thrills me that we have the LOVE for dance in common. The memories I have tucked away are priceless! I have 2 AYC Nationals Championships in my dance career with FYM and hope to add one more in my last year this year! It will be bittersweet, but I would not trade the experience for anything in the world!
Delaney - 17 (Team Capt.), I have been dancing under the organization for 9 years. Dancing is my "escape". Without it, the single biggest piece of my of my life would be missing and I am SO thankful for Coach Carmella. Our team is family that I would do anything for and I am SO grateful for the opportunities it has given me! Nationals here we come!!!!
Jayna - 17, I LOVE TO DANCE because it's artistic. The team creates a great support system on and off the dance floor! Making it to Nationals is the best reward for all our hard work!
Emily - 16, I have been dancing for the organization since elementary school. Every year Coach "C" creates the most amazing routines that make me want to come back season after season. FYM Phoenix has helped me grow and strengthened life long bonds. It's stressed that with focus & hard work, ALL goals can be accomplished and I have grown to love dance even more as a result.
Megan - 16, Dancing is fun & I love it! I can leave whatever problems I have at the door & just focus on dance. Being part of the FYM team since I was 7, makes it better because I am with a group I can trust and form special bonds with that I don't get anywhere else. Making it to Nationals means ALL the hard work has paid off and it's a great accomplishment.
Gwyn - 16, I love to dance and it keeps my mind off things that are going on outside. It's nice to be a part of a team that I can connect with. Being selcted to go to Nationals means a lot to me because we have worked so hard to get to this level.
Daniela - 15, Started here at the age of 8. Dance is a different way of expression for me. At FYM we have each other to depend on. Going to Nationals means all the hard work paid off for this extraordinary experience.
Avi - 15, I love to dance because it's my scapegoat. Being a part of the FYM team makes me feel like I have outside family that has my back. Being a part of Nationals means my team & I worked to the best of our abilities as ONE.
Symone - 14, Eight year dance student under Coach Carmella's direction, is a scholastic & dance champion! This straight "A" Honor Society student brings her leasdership, talent & multiple skills to enhance her team here at FYM! Nationals would not be the same without her!
Amani - 13, Dance allows me to freely express myself. I enjoy being a part of this team because we all work together to become more POWERFUL at our skills and we have a GREAT time together. Performing at Nationals shows everyone what we're capable of while we uplift the crowd.
Summer - 12, I love to dance because it lets me express my spirit & passion. I like being a part of the team because we support each other in the good times and the bad. We rejoice when we succeed & that means the world to me. One mind-one purpose....Getting to peform at AYC Dance Nationals means so much because we worked so hard for that final destination!!!

FYM Phoenix Dance Association, Inc. is a non-profit recreational dance organization with an "ALL STAR" mindset dedicated to serving youth through the "team" experience in the Bucks, Montgomery & Philadelphia areas under the directorship of Carmella Loving, Master Instructor, Choreographer, & AYC National Dance Coach of the Year 2016. With the support of the single most amazingly talented & gifted assistant coaching staff that do everything from gives rides to dancers, to costume alterations, to make up & hairto creating the most amazing props from scratch ever seen, they add the essential factor of making the dancers and our dance routines exttra special: Eugenia Guerra, Yvette Loving & Michelle Ruth.
Our goal is to prepare youngsters to face the future with sportsmanship, teamwork, honesty, responsibility, self-discipline, & positive aspirations through the amazing outlet & expression of DANCE in a competitive yet uplifting environment.
FYM is grateful to have had it's DANCE roots in the community for the past 10 years working with amazing kids not only winning multiple championships, but also, building character, & giving our time to worthy causes like Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief.
This is our third trip in 4 years to AYC FL Nationals in Orlando! Our last outing at AYC FL Nationals, our YOUTH & SENIOR teams won 1st Place Dance Nationals titles & the coveted championship jackets & the Sr. team received "highest score" honors! THIS YEAR, FYM's 10 member Sr. team just took another FIRST place and GRAND CHAMP (highest score) victory at the AYC Regional competition in Trenton, NJ 11/18/17and have advanced to the national competition level this year, AGAIN!!!!!
