I never thought any of this would happen to my family and I feel terrible for even asking this from people during this time of hardship. 

For the past 4 days my father, Dae Song Yi, has been extremely sick. His sudden illness included extreme vomiting, stomach pain, fever, chills, diarrhea, etc. Despite me and my step moms concerns, he refused to go to the hospital because of money. He is uninsured and he didn’t want us to worry about money. He started to throw up black vomit and that’s when i realized that he really needs to go. My dad is a fighter. He is also really stubborn, which is how he managed to swallow his pain until he couldn’t anymore.  On the fourth day, I finally convinced him to go to urgent care (we were actually taking him to Providence Hospital.) When we got downstairs, he passed out. There was no pulse. I called 911 and did CPR until the paramedics came. 

Since then, he has endured 3 cardiac arrests and all of his organs are damaged. I love my dad so much and I am constantly praying to God for a miracle. The doctor has told me that he would not make it past the night, but he did. My dad is my best friend and the strongest person I know. The doctor does not know the cause of his illness, but COVID-19 has been ruled out. Anything helps and if you cannot donate, that is totally okay.
