I ask the world for its consideration and kindness. My name is Neven and I am a mother in Gaza, living in constant fear for the safety of her children. Almost one year ago, I lost my home, my possessions, and everything familiar to me. I was displaced with my family from north Gaza to Rafah in the south, and ever since we have lived through constant displacement and uncertainty.

I have watched the smiles fade from my children. I have twin boys named Shaaban and Mohamed, who no longer appear the same as they did one year ago. My other children are Ahmed (3 years old), Fulla (2 years old), and Mona (7 years old). My children are extremely hungry most days, and I don't have income to afford the high priced food in Gaza. My children love life and do not deserve to die. It is a heavy burden to watch them suffer.

My mother is wounded in the war and needs an operation, but there are no means. ثمن الطعام المرتفع في غزة. أطفالي يحبون الحياة ولا

يستحقون الموت. إنه عبء ثقيل أن أشاهدهم
