THE ROAD TO INDEPENDENCE

On 8-12-15, I arrived home while it was getting burglarized. I wasn't aware that the crime was taking place & was shot the very moment I approached the front door. As a result of the gun violence, I was left paralyzed. This life changing event has taken a toll on me physically as I battle with many surgeries, wound care and newly diagnosed medical complications. However, mentally I'm strong and my faith and trust in God is the source of that strength. As I have made adjustments to this life, there has also been goals set. One of which is to regain the ability to drive again. I call this goal "The Road to Independence". But this is one I truly need help with as the financial burden of it is overwhelming. This campaign is for Vehicle Modifications to my truck that would allow me the opportunity to get back on the road again and become the self sufficient, independent person that I am known to be.
