Kevin Weisbruch Supercross Fund

Donation protected
Hi there, my name is Kevin Weisbruch, I'm 20 years old, and I race professional motocross and supercross. Many of you may know me, and many of you may not. Either way, here is a little bit about me:

I've been racing motocross for almost 12 years now, and with the help from my mother and father, I was able to travel the country competing at all the top amateur nationals at a young age. I progressed rapidly and racked up numerous amateur national championships. In 2012, one of my biggest goals was met; receiving my AMA pro motocross license. I have competed in 9 Supercross races over the past two seasons, showing major progression at each round.

But earlier this year, tragedy struck. While racing in Pheonix, Arizona in early January, I suffered a life threatening injury. I came up short on a nearly 80 foot triple and acquired serveral factures to my cricroid and thyroid cartilage, as well as a factured larynx. I went into emergency surgery early the next morning and spent around a week recovering in ICU. I overcame this injury however, pushed through the pain and nervousness, and proved to myself that I belong back out on the track. I raced the San Diego Supercross round just 4 short weeks after. The rest of the season turned out to be my best yet. To this very day I am still recovering from that injury and still pushing to become better on and off my bike. If anything, that accident has made me respect Supercross even more than I already did, and has made me strive to become a greater rider.

I love racing Supercross and it is my dream come true to compete around the United States, but as you may know, racing is very costly. I have amazing sponsors that support me in nearly every way possible, but sometimes you just need a little bit more than you have to be successful. With my Father working two different jobs and putting in unbelievable amounts of hours, my Mother working full time, and myself working 30-35 hours a week alongside with training and riding 4 days a week, we can hardly afford to make it the races. We have invested nearly every dollar we earn into racing, and it has come to the point where we have to turn to you for the great help and support you can provide. Help me chase the dream in 2015!

I understand times are tough, and many of us are not near where we should be financially, but anything helps. I'm not asking for much, whether big or small, I can personally promise you that your donation will make a huge difference in my career. I would like to thank you in advance for your time and contribution to my Supercross fund, and would like to say that I will not let you down. I can guarantee that you will see myself in nearly every main event in 2015, and know that I am there because you helped me along the way! I am offering a personalized signed jersey and poster to anyone who donates $100 or more, for donations exceeding $1,000, I'm offering to place your name/company name/logo on my bike, jersey, and helmet where it will be seen worldwide on live TV.

Again, I thank you all for your time, effort, and contributuions, and I look forward to seeing you at Anahiem 1 in January 2015! Let's go racing!
