Help our animal farm sanctuary
Donation protected
In 2011, during the height of the economic crisis in Greece, a group of animal loving friends on the small island of Aegina decided to do something about the plight of the stray animals wandering our streets.
With almost no money but much passion, inventiveness and hard work Vrouva Farm Sanctuary was created. We could never imagine then that 7 years later the Farm would be home to over 100 animals. Dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, sheep, chickens, humans and a cow coexist in a mostly loving and interwoven community . We live together and learn from each other as we try to live respectfully and lightly on our planet.
Now, with winter coming, we need to get some projects underway to keep our animals warm, dry and safe.
- Our lovely cow Hope needs a shed for the winter.
- Our horse fence needs replacing.
- Suzie, our new pig resident, also needs a winter shed and fencing.
- We also need 2 big waterproof doghouses for the dogs of our fourth pen.
Every little bit you can spare counts.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
