Help my dad with medical expenses and bills

Hi my name is ToniAnn,

I am making this go fund me for my dad Dennis Hunt.

After originally missing work for 11 days while my mom was in the ICU, my dad was not feeling 100%. He was having trouble breathing but being the amazing man he is, he pushed his struggles to the side to assist with my mom and to help me out with getting ready for the baby and my move.

But in April my dad went to the hospital because he just couldn’t handle it anymore. His oxygen level was at 68.

They gave him a diagnosis of Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, but his pulmonary doctor said they weren’t 100% sure.

He has had multiple tests done, a lung sweep, blood work and just on Wednesday 8/9/2023 a lung biopsy where they had to take pieces of his lung to send to pathology.

My dad is too humble to accept help, but at this point our backs are against the wall.

He has not been able to work since April, and we don’t know what the future brings at this point. He has multiple appointments and co-pays coming up.

He has been fighting with his short term disability to even get paid a part of his wages, but that is ending soon too as well as his FMLA being over.
