THS Class of 2008 Reunion

Hello from the Reunion Planning Committee!

Please pay your dues for the reunion using GoFundMe. This allows us to have a list of everyone who paid and allows you to see the total amount collected.  ALL dues will be used to pay for the reunion events; we will be conducting a poll at a later date to decide how any excess funds will be distributed.

Although we reached our original goal of $3K that number was calculated based off of low interest. As with anything the more people who show up the more it will cost. The goal was changed to reflect the increased amount of participants registering. The budget is based on per person interest, so ALL attendees to the Saturday night event MUST pay dues or they will not be allowed entrance.

The Reunion Dates: Friday, July 13 and Saturday, July 14, 2018.

Friday Details: 7:00 PM, we will meet at Dave’s Roll-a-Rink on Pinetree Blvd for some nostalgic fun. Kids are welcome to participate as well. Entrance for one adult (children's admission is not covered) to the roll a rink is covered.

Saturday Details: 7:00 PM, we will have our 10-year class reunion program at Receptions for You. The theme for Saturday night is “Red Carpet Affair”… so… Dress to IMPRESS! Anything from Sunday’s best to prom dress is acceptable! SCROLL DOWN FOR DETAILS

Dues: Deadline is midnight June 1, 2018. The amount for dues is $55 per classmate. If you elect to bring another person such as a spouse, sibling, or other adult friend then you will need to submit an additional $25 for each person. How do I pay dues?

Dues can be submitted by using the GoFundMe link. Please be careful when submitting your payment, make sure you are not “tipping” all of your dues to GoFundMe as we will not have a way to recover your funds. All dues need to be submitted by midnight June 1, 2018.

What if I can't pay with a card?

What if I can't pay right now?

Where is my money going?

Entrance for one adult (children's admission is not covered) to the roll a rink on Friday night.

The event/reception on Saturday night (deposit, decorations, photographer, video, food, alcohol, miscellaneous). It's gonna be a good time. If we end up with extra $, we will do a poll for the group to see how people want to spend it. We suggest donating a care package to Coach Brown, who was diagnosed with ALS a couple years ago. What about T-shirts?

What about the Dress code for Saturday night?

Keep in mind… dress code is “Sunday Best to Prom Dress”. It doesn’t have to be expensive and it doesn’t have to be new. Look nice, look grown! Men… If you want to wear jeans and button-up shirt… cool. If you want to come in looking like the King of Wakanda… cool. Ladies… If you wear a $20 FashionNova dress… cool. If Vera Wang has already been hired to design your ensemble… cool! It’s all love… just come! 

Housekeeping Post!!!

First,  please reach out to us if you are having difficulty paying some or all of your dues.  We want everyone to participate. We still need everyone to pay their dues or contribute what they can.

Thanks to everybody for doing their part! Team work makes the dream work!


Second, our class reunion is great for us but it can be great for somebody else too. As mature adults, we know that social responsibility is super important. We have discussed donating any proceeds from the reunion to several different causes but one has stood out more than the others. Our very own Coach Brown was diagnosed with ALS a couple years ago and is graciously fighting the disease. We thought it would be a good idea to put together a care package for her to let her know the Class of 2008 is fighting with her. If anyone else has ideas to contribute to our community, please voice them.

We would like to assure all classmates that the planning committee is overseeing and tracking ALL withdrawals and deposits of your donations. Every dollar will be accounted for.
